U.S. Postal Service says Love Stamp is Made of Hearts| site |

(December 20, 2019) - - Today, the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) announced that Made of Hearts, the latest stamp in the U.S. Postal Service’s Love series, will be issued next month in time for Valentine’s Day. The Forever stamp features horizontal lines of red and pink hearts on a white background.

The USPS says "These new stamps from the U.S. Postal Service will deliver your message in style. Hearts are used to signify more than romantic or eternal love. Hearts are universally understood to symbolize devotion, affection and love."

While issued for use at Valentine’s Day, these stamps need no special holiday. This stamp is just right for thank-you notes, get well cards or any occasion when love is the perfect message.

The first-day-of-issue event for the Made of Hearts Forever stamp is free and open to the public. News of the stamp is being shared with the hashtag #LoveStamps.

The first-day-of-issue dedication ceremony event is scheduled to be held Thursday, Jan. 23, 2020, at 11 a.m. CST at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105. The event is scheduled to be presided over by David E. Williams, Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President, U.S. Postal Service.
