WASHINGTON, November 27, 2019—Today, Chairman Pai announced that Julius Knapp, Chief of the FCC’s Office of Engineering and Technology, plans to retire from public service after 45 years at the Commission.
Commissioner Geoffrey Starks Statement on the Retirement of FCC Chief Engineer Julie Knapp:
“Julie is truly one of the FCC’s heroes, and has been a role model for me and countless other FCC employees.
