Two Board Meetings of the National Transportation Safety Board are Scheduled for April 10, 2018








Washington, DC - - (April 9, 2018) - - The National Transportation Safety Board has scheduled for tomorrow, at 9:30 a.m., the meeting to determine the probable cause of the 2015 accident involving two freight trains in Roswell, New Mexico.

Previously released information about the Roswell accident, in which an engineer died and a conductor was seriously injured, is available at: https://go.usa.gov/xn783 .

The board is also scheduled to meet tomorrow, at 1 p.m., to determine the probable cause of the Oct. 2, 2016, crash of Hageland Aviation (Ravn Connect) flight 3153 near Togiak, Alaska. The two commercial pilots and a passenger aboard the Cessna 208B Caravan were killed and the airplane was destroyed.
