A Warning to Christian Ministers

Greetings Brethren!
First and foremost, I pray that you are truly Saved (born again in accordance with the mandated requirement of John chapter3).
Secondly, I make three requests:
- If you are still alive in the year 2028, please come back and read this Warning.
- If you are still alive in the year 2038, please come back and read this Warning.
- If you are still alive in the year 2048, please come back and read this Warning.
9 The prophet which prophesieth of peace, when the word of the prophet shall come to pass, then shall the prophet be known, that the Lord hath truly sent him. (Jeremiah 28:9)
My brethren, the secular society is currently stressing and obsessing over the revelation of the sexual sins of some ministers that have served in the Roman Catholic Church. As horrible and tragic the actual situation is; let us not be deceived: They are not the only culprits (nor is the Roman Catholic Church alone in suffering the devastating sins of some of those who stand behind the Holy Desk).
Many in the current secular society seek evidence to disprove God. (Satan is, of course, behind all of that.) Nevertheless, there are real dangers present (dangers that the ministers could have avoided).
I think it not coincidental that the alleged time span of the atrocities (and they truly are atrocities) spanned some seventy years; rather, the time span is (is think) instructive. I think, also, that the problem has not been solved; and, is probably expanding rather than abating. (I speak not in respect to the Roman Catholic Church only; rather, I speak in respect of all denominations of the Christian faith.) I seek not to indict my brethren; but, the truth must be faced (either now or later). The Apostle Peter said:
17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall be the end of them that obey not the gospel of God?
18 And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear? (1 Peter 4:17-18).
Brethren, we are at great risk; (thus, the central reason for this warning). Marvel not at the criticism the Church and Christianity are receiving from the secular world (criticizing us is their great delight); rather, open your eyes and discern the root causes of our current predicament.
We have allowed Satan to deceive us. He has created sin super highways into our homes and thus into our minds. (I now better understand the value of monasteries and asceticism). Those sexual atrocities of the Roman Catholic ministers are merely indicators of the infections (sin-borne infections) of all of our society (ministers included). By use of sexual images in print, in movies, on television, and in the scantily-clad attire of females, Satan has infected us with the virus of sexual promiscuity. You and I are infected (whether we know [and or admit] it or not). We are infected and we are at risk. We have allowed Satan to make our societies cesspools of sin and unrighteousness. The mere human is not equipped to adequately cope with such an onslaught of sexual attacks. The human heart cannot (alone) stand up under such profuse invasion of evil images and urgings. The truth pronounced by the Prophet Jeremiah is very apparent:
9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? (Jeremiah 17:9).
The truth of Jeremiah’s word (actually the word of God) is clearly seen in the current charges leveled against the sexual atrocities of the Roman Catholic Church; but, lest we forget, that word applies to all of us. Thus, the Apostle Paul acknowledges:
14 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.
15 For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I.
16 If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good.
17 Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.
19 For the good that I would I do not: but the evil that I would not, that I do.
20 Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
21 I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.
22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:
23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?
25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin. (Romans 7:14-25)
So, clearly brethren, the flesh (our flesh) is dangerous - - - dangerous to us and dangerous to others. Any sane human being would understand (in light of the teachings of the Apostle Paul) that we need to beware of the sin that seeks to control and rule the body. So, then, it is not just the accused Roman Catholic ministers that are guilty and at risk; rather, we are all at risk (and some are guilty).
Without being truly Saved, the minister is both a false prophet and a severe risk to the Christian church. There is no substitute for Salvation (absolutely none!). When a Christian church is pastored by an unSaved person, that congregation is at risk of becoming a cult. Salvation in accordance with the prescription, description and mandate of John chapter 3 is absolutely mandatory. Clearly, Satan has succeeded in installing many unSaved “pastors” in Western Hemisphere congregations. This is nothing new (the Apostle John experienced the same Satanic operations):
Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. (1 John 4:1).
Brethren, I have tried the spirits (against the word of God) and have found many to not be of God. The Christian church is at risk (though Satan shall not prevail against it). Secularism and humanism are trying to rule the day. Many unsuspecting sheep have been deceived and misled. They are drinking down that which is not of God; therefore, our society is being drawn away from the truth that is in God’s word.
It is time for each of us to examine ourselves. The Apostle Paul puts it this way:
4 For though he was crucified through weakness, yet he liveth by the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we shall live with him by the power of God toward you.
5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? (2 Corinthians 13:4-5)
Brethren, the societies of the Western Hemisphere have (by and large) become Anti-Christian. (Anyone that does not fully believe and accept John 14:6 is Anti-Christian.)
People who are Anti-Christian do not hear (listen to) me. They do not want to hear me (because they do not want to hear the true word of Almighty God (which I bring to them). They do not hear me because they are of the world. If they were of God they would hear me. On this point, the Apostle John is very clear:
4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
5 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.
6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error. (1 John 4:4-6).
Brethren, I am issuing this warning because I want to save you from the errors of the mind and flesh. If you are not already Saved in accordance with John chapter 3, please get Saved immediately. How does one become truly Saved? (Jeremiah 29:13 gives an important clue.) Please be sure to dwell on Romans chapter 10, 1 Corinthians chapter 15 and Acts chapter 8. (I assume you know about John chapter 3.)
Brethren, beyond Salvation and baptism, we must be careful to keep ourselves Holy. We must avoid situations and environments that lead us into temptation. (How hypocritical it is to pray [in the Lord’s Prayer] “Lead us not into temptation” and then go out and lead ourselves into temptation!) We must avoid sin. We must avoid sinful situations. Actually, we must flee sin. Concerning sexual sin, the Apostle Paul is very specific:
18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. (1 Corinthians 6:18).
The Apostle Paul gives further explanation of the importance of fleeing sin:
19 What? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s. (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).
Brethren, I flee sin. I avoid sinful images. I avoid sinful movies. I avoid sinful television. I avoid sinful situations. I avoid sinful activities. I endeavor to live Holy.
Satan is after us all. We all need to be alert. We all need to be on guard. We all need to be warned.
6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:
7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.
11 To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. (1 Peter 5:6-11).
